So Much Music...So Little Time

Amazing, this hot band from of all places central Nebraska just keeps getting better.  Their new CD "So Much Music...So Little Time" is a work of art.  Two years in the making and mastered by grammy nominated Tom Ware of Warehouse Productions who masters Lady Gaga's music.  The sound and production are great and the writing is exceptional. This cd is perfect for anyone looking for a ride on a train full of blues, rock, country and reggae.  Ala Bonnie Raitt, Steely Dan, Lyle Lovitt, Tom Petty and others, TREO can't really be fit into one genre. So much music so little time is a greasy, funky blues tune that comes right at you full of horns keys and guitar,  Keep Movn is a fun strait forward rocker, Stargazer Lilly is an urban tale, about a lovely lady who loses her mind, the grand piano and cello , let alone the words will make you cry, it's a beautiful song. The title cut is a fun reggae number that sums up the philosophy of the band , so much music so little time so let's get groovin people, "Jah music will soothe your heart your soul and your mind....so much music ...so little time"  amen.  It's all good, is a sassy blues tune sung lusciously by Kate Fly, "sometimes you get a bowl of cherries, sometimes it's nothin but the pits" Great musicians, great songwriting, spot on vocals and harmonies and fun music make this cd an A+  five star effort. Music is supposed to be fun and this album is really fun.

About

Treo began as a three piece acoustic cover band playing mostly Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt , Bob Marley, Beatles and more. They have now morphed into a 7 piece band playing mostly original tunes. While having great success with their debut CD "Positivity" they are proud to announce the release of their 2nd CD "Believe It". This fabulous disc has 14 brand new original songs ranging in styles from blues to reggae and from country to americana. Dave Kingsley, writer of all these songs says " we love being eclectic, we don't want to be put in one genre and our fans love the variety of music on our CD's and at our live shows." TREO has had a great year playing some very special venues such as the Fox Theater, Rialto Theater, Minden Opera House and Neville Center. They have also opened for National Blues acts Walter Trout and Too Slim and the Taildraggers. The bandmates all agree "music is supposed to be fun" this new CD is fun, cerebral, timely, timeless and amazing, check it out but be warned, TREO music can be addictive.

I

n a word "FANTASTIC".  That describes the new TREO  cd "Believe It".  Adult contemporary music is starving for fresh voices and good music. We can only wait so long for the new Tom Petty, Bonnie Raitt, Neil Young, Eagles and James Taylor cd's.  TREO is a band that has fun, enjoyable music for your good stereo with a favorite beverage or rockin in your car on a road trip.  14 new songs ranging from big band to straight up blues, and from reggae n ska to alt country and jazz.  Love the mix and the variety; glad to see and hear someone writing and playing for adults.  Keep up the good work... can't wait for the next one!
